August Adventures: Handmade Leather Goods & Local Vendor Markets

August is pulling into the station tomorrow and with it new opportunities. Colt and I are gearing up to be at three local vendor markets this August for Starlight By Ashley LLC.

The first two markets are at the Port Washington Farmers Market. The market runs on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Quality local farmers and artisans will be there offering their wares.

On August 1, music from Green Sails will be there as you stroll through the vendors.

The musician for August 8 has not been released yet.

Cream City Clash IV is the fourth year running and Starlight By Ashley LLC will be returning to it's folk faire market in Glendale, Wisconsin. This event is for the sport buhurt, a combat sport inspired by medieval warfare from the 13 to 15 centuries. Since the 13 century, buhurt came about from needing a way to keep soldiers ready for war in addition to the entertainment factor. Using historically inspired blunt metal weapons fighters compete against each other in steel armor. To watch buhurt is trilling and brings one's mind back into history when such fighting was the normal reality. Any fan of renaissance fairs wont want to miss this.

There will be a variety of handmade good such as handmade leather items, jewelry, wood engraved items and custom artwork at the folk faire market.

The Bavarian Bierhaus will be offering their delicious food and beverages at the event.

The DEN Emporium is a cozy shop encompassing 'Up North' charm in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. It is a haven full of rustic gifts, clothing, and home decor. Starlight By Ashley LLC is one of the founding vendors from when The DEN Emporium opens it's doors back in 2022. Here you can find some of our select handmade leather goods and other locally made items.

The DEN Emporium is currently the only brick and motor retail store we stock our leather products at.

In July, I launched our new website as we move away from etsy. I will be closing our etsy shop within the next couple of months as we transition over. Our new website is packed with more information than our etsy shop could offer. You can now submit custom leather work inquiries and customized belt forms online for a free quote!

In addition, we have a static place to put where and when we will be at markets and other retail locations we have our product stocked at. No more having to search through our social media posts to figure it out.

Lastly, there is so much more room to grow. Stay tuned. I have some exciting things for the future.
